N.E.P.H.E.W Destined For Hip-Hop Greatness

The wild 100's of Chicago can be rough at times, but a lot of good comes from there as well. Southside hip-hop artist N.E.P.H.E.W. is one of those good topics from that area that music listeners are speaking on. He's the guy that gives you sound advice when many hesitate to share their true spirit. If we fell in love with the raft of Common, N.E.P.H.E.W. picks up where the fellow southsider left off when his bags packed up and left for New York years ago.

With album release "Pressure," N.E.P.H.E.W. speaks as the voice of Chicago's urban community of activists struggling to change the dangerous minds media formats often create. I spoke with the artist and he gave insight on today's music stating "There isn't enough real music out here, it's very unbalanced."
